It is always very refreshing to see ones work getting used by others.

Today, while during one of my many daily Google searches, I came across a Google AdWord for the Fundanemt CMS. The AdWord is for a danish IT company called Kompas-It, that do web-development using the Fundanemt CMS.

So here is some free advertisement for an ad.

Today, Eckhart, Tinus, and I went to hear Morten Andersen's talk.

Jimmy Boejgaard gave a quick presentation of Morten Andersen, who was then cheered unto the stage.

Morten talked about his childhood, how he began to compete in all aspects of life, and how he at the age of 17 traveled to USA. He talked about the ups and downs of his career in High school, College and finally the NFL.

The talk was full of anecdotes from the locker rooms and his practice sessions in USA and Denmark while he was out of a job for 20 months.

After the talk, Tinus managed to get his copy of Morten and Jimmy's book "Livet er et kick" signed.

I have just spent the last four-five hours watching NFL on TV. A Simpsons episode where Homer coaches Bart's football team, while I prepared dinner. I am lucky enough to have TV2 Sport (although NFL is the only sport I watch on that channel), so as soon as Claus and Jimmy came on, I was seated in my new couch and ready for some football. The show seems to be a continuation of the TV2 Zulu program from that last couple of years, with only a few modifications.

TV2 Sport and TV3+ are providing an extended coverage of NFL - with three Sunday games, and Monday night football as well. Although the TV3+ show is not nearly as good as the TV2 Sport show, it is still worth watching. The main drawback is the constant commercials.

Right now I'm checking the results on NFL.com against my TV2 NFL Picks. The 3-4 highest ranked picks are winners so far.

I finally got around to start my search for a new place to live, since my current apartment lease runs out in about a month. Thursday I signed up on an online apartment listings website. After having seen two apartments Sunday and Monday, I decided on the second one. Tuesday the landlord called me and told me that I could have it if I was still interested. I am amazed that it did not take more than a few days to find a new apartment.

Unfortunately I am leaving my current apartment in mid August, and the new one iis not available until a week or two later.

Other than that I am thrilled about the new apartment. 4 room two story apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, close to work, has a great kitchen, and a reasonable rent compared to the apartments in Copenhagen.

Two days ago on Wednesday, June 20th, I passed the final exam for my masters degree with flying colors. My final grade for the master thesis was 11 - an acceptable grade :-) We were the first group of students from the new software engineering education to get our degree, but the press never showed up - what a shame.

On June 29th I will get my diploma and that will officially be the end of my education. At least for now. Big changes are going to happen in the near future. Having spent the last 19 years on education it will be nice to finally apply the acquired knowledge on some real problems.
